To allow our programs to be distributed in more countries, governments often request proof that our programs work. Currently, we have several research projects ongoing that show very impressive, soon to be published, results. Our research findings have been presented to multiple international medical conferences.

To allow our programs to be distributed in more countries, governments often request proof that our programs work. Currently, we have several research projects ongoing that show very impressive, soon to be published, results. Our research findings have been presented to multiple international medical conferences.
Current studies include:
1. Evaluating the efficacy of an educational video for cancer patients and caregivers in Uganda. (In partnership with the Uganda Cancer Institute)
2. Demonstrating the benefits to patient care and caregivers of small solar powered lights distributed by a palliative care team to energy impoverished areas in rural Uganda. (In partnership with Solar Health Uganda and Let There Be Light International)
3. Destigmatizing Breast Cancer: Village Health Teams Using a Video Education Tool. (In partnership with the African Palliative Care Association, with partial support from Pfizer, Inc and the ASCO Foundation.)
4. Evaluating the Feasibility of VHTs using patient education videos as a tool to teach community members about cancer. (In partnership with the Palliative Care Association of Uganda.)
We thank our research partners including the African Palliative Care Association, Palliative Care Association of Uganda, and the Uganda Cancer Institute.
